The lying down position is great for mothers who have had a cesearian section as there is no pressure on the abdomen.  It is also a great way for the mother and baby to relax and drift off to sleep and makes breastfeeding really easy if you are co-sleeping.

Watch the video to see how it’s done.  Once you get better at it you can do away with all the pillows.
